Greens Retail, a Scottish convenience retail firm part of Glenshire Group, is delighted to announce its inclusion in the 2025 E2E Job Creation 100 in association with The Independent.
The E2E Job Creation 100 celebrates the UK’s private companies that are making a real difference through job creation, sustainable growth, and workforce empowerment. Curated and validated by E2E in collaboration with Creditsafe and Experian, this prestigious list recognises UK-based businesses that have:
• Created significant job growth over their last two filing periods
• Reported £10M+ in turnover across the past two years
• Employed at least 100 people
The ranking emphasises companies intentionally building strong teams and growing employment, demonstrating both impact and responsibility in the UK economy.
Greens Retail operates 27 convenience stores across Scotland, including their brand-new ‘foodvenience’ concept, Greens on the Go. Harris Aslam, Managing Director at Greens Retail, says they are prepared for growth with more store openings on the way:
Harris Aslam, Managing Director at Glenshire Group, commented:
“At Greens Retail, our people are at the very heart of everything we do. Being recognised as one of the UK’s fastest-growing employers is a tremendous honour, it not only reflects the rapid growth of our business, but also our unwavering commitment to building sustainable careers and fostering a positive culture across the communities we serve.
As we continue to expand, this recognition reinforces our focus on developing strong teams, supporting local economies, and delivering outstanding customer service. We are immensely proud of our colleagues whose passion and dedication make our success possible — this achievement belongs as much to them as it does to Greens Retail.
With several new stores set to open in the coming months, we’re excited to bring our unique foodvenience offering to even more communities while creating meaningful jobs and opportunities along the way.”
Speaking about the track, Shalini Khemka CBE, founder of E2E, says:
“In times when employment law is changing in the UK, it is especially rewarding to see these companies that are on the track because despite the challenges and changes in policy around employment they continue to create jobs at a faster rate than other private companies in the UK.”
The tracks are independently compiled by E2E, Creditsafe, and Experian according to official data and specific criteria. Each track is supported by E2E’s partner Universal Partners, along with Fora, Lioncroft, Creditsafe, and Experian.
